Hola Mexico

Hola everyone!! We just got back from spending 5 wonderful days in the hot, beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Woo woo............what a wonderful way to spend Valentines with my Ty.

This is the lovely view from our room at the Paradise Village. It definitely was paradise.

We took a horse ride up to the waterfall to swim in. It was amazing. Once done with the ride, we enjoyed fajitas, open bar and scenery at the mexican fiesta ranch.

I couldn't resist kissing this frog at Senior Frogs downtown, although I have already found my own prince charming.


White sand, blazing sun and the best company made for the most perfect trip.

Almost the whole group who enjoyed the trip. Ty and I ended up being the youngest couple on a 50th vacation, but I couldn't have been happier with all of their company. Thank you to all for making an enjoyable, relaxing, memorable experience for me.

Christmas

We had an excellent Christmas this year although I am glad to say that it is over. I am so lucky to have Jocie. Christmas with a 5 year old is the best. There is nothing more exiciting and of course she got spoiled.

We started the baking tradition two years ago with my mom. It is so much fun and yummy. My mom also made everyone Christmas aprons. They are so cute!! Jocie loves hers.

Christmas morning was magical. It was definetly memorable in many ways.

Jocie and McKinley loved opening presents at my moms. My mom always makes Christmas the best!


Christmas at my dads was enjoyable also.

And of course Christmas with my honey was perfect. Thank you Ty. You are the best!

Halloween

jocie was a scary fairy this year. she looked absolutely adorable. not very scary, but so cute!!

we went to park city to visit memo and papa. down on main street she got her face painted. it added a perfect touch to her costume.

she had a halloween party at school and this was her pumpkin cookie she decorated. they also played lots games. I was fortunate enough be there to help. it was so much fun seeing all the cute kids in their costumes.

then she paraded around the school...................

I was just a boring ole witch with only my hat....

jocie was able to trick or treat with bug, cheyenne, and cody. she was so excited.


we also had some random pre halloween events. the hardings made a scarecrow for the annual scarecrow festival in park city. tiffany and alexa came and i was so glad!!!

jocie and bug also decorated a haunted house.

my girl

jocie is my daugher and the light in my life. she is 5 1/2 and just started kindergaten. she also just started a combo dance class. she is doing so well. i am so pround of her. everyday i look at her and am complete awe at the beautiful, fun, smart little girl she has become. she had to wear this cute butterfly dress her first day of school and it definetly was appropriate because she flew a wing.
